  1. Evolving Ministries Through SpiritGroups - Presenter Glenda Walden & Indira Huerta - In this workshop participants will discover ways to convey the Unity message in unique, creative, & powerful ways with SpiritGroups as the foundation. (2 General Credits)

  2. The Five Principles in Action - Presenter Melanie Dean - The 5 Principles of Unity: How they Work Scientifically and Give you Complete Access to Your Personal Power (2 General Credits)

  3. Plugged In & Powered Up - An Earthcare Practice & Presence- Presenter Eliasa Sabogal - The way we move and breathe in space and time is on a precipice of change and we have the tools in great supply to be the changemakers needed now. Using our beloved Twelve Powers, here in Unity, this workshop will take you on an experience to ignite Earthcare passions in your heart and provide fuel as you carry new ideas home. (2 General Credits)

  4. Sacred Safety - Active Shooter Information and Training - Presenter Kevin Holman - When The Unthinkable Happens… You will be either a Victim or Victor? Be aware of the simple proven strategies that can keep you and your faith community from becoming victims. Know the “THREE OUTS” that can give you the tools to stay alive if someone with evil destructive intentions were to invade your facility. Tragedies often happen not because people “planned to fail” but because they “failed to plan.” They were simply unequipped to react in a way that could have saved lives and prevented harm. (Ethics/Boundaries Credit)

  • Grow your ministry as you expand your prosperity consciousness! The Silver and Gold Fundraising Event at convention features special speakers Rev. Shad Groverland and fundraising expert, Denis Greene, CFRE. You’ll walk away with wisdom you can apply to your ministry regarding fundraising, stewardship, and growth. We are so grateful for your attendance and support of this fundraising event as it is designed to support the transformative programs that will help your ministry grow! Delicious finger foods and yummy desserts (gluten free and including vegan) will be served along with beverages.

  2. LRDT Panel - Presenter Elllen Fannin - Join us as a panel of former UWM Board members share their experiences and wisdom about serving and recommend ways for participants can cultivate their own leadership skill. A portion of the workshop will include questions from the audience. (Not Available for Credit)

  3. Next Generation Unity - Presenter Rachel Gaither - Learn how to reconnect with the young adult phase of life, the major pitfalls Unity culture has experienced in retaining young people, and how the new program format will give both modern and traditional ministries access to the younger generation again. (1 General Credit)

  4. Code of Ethics - Presenter Joanne Burns - Ethics and values remind us of the sacredness of relationships and provide guidelines for navigating relationships with deep integrity and intentionality. Ethical policy and accountability are essential for all spiritual communities, organizations, and leadership. (Ethics/Boundaries Credit)

2:45 - 4:45 pm Breakout Experiences

  1. Music with Sue Riley & Richard Mekdeci - Music in your ministry is a very powerful tool. It is a key component to creating a service that keeps visitors coming back and regulars engaged in your weekly services. Not only can music please the current attendees, but it can also be used to shape diversity in your congregation. Richard and Sue will show you how you can use music to orchestrate not just a great talk but an impactful worship experience. (2 General Credits)
  2. I.D.E.A. - Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, & Accessibility - Presenter Courtney McGinnis - This session will provide all participants an overview of how to move from positive intent to leveraging resources to have maximum impact. (Diversity/Inclusivity Credit)
  3. Spiritual Direction - Presenter Joni Lorraine & Robert Brumet - A Deepening Experience of the Holy Experience the practice of spiritual direction. You'll sample how spiritual direction can move us out of our emotional swamplands (what Charles Fillmore referred to as "chemicalization") toward a greater awareness of God's movement in our lives. (2 General Credits)
  4. Bringing Our Wholeness Into Spiritual Community - Presenter Myra McFadden - Join Myra as she assists us in integrating the power of Unity's traditional teachings with the beauty and honesty of our human selves into ministry. (2 General Credits)
